Quintessential British brand Penhaligon’s have just launched their first comprehensive grooming range for men. Long since the favourite of many an immaculate gentlemen, Penhaligon’s have cleverly reworked an original fragrance from their archives, a zesty and refreshing number, based on a Bay Rum fragrance, Bayolea is set to be a new favourite.
For moustachioed chaps and bearded gent’s who already adore the much coveted Sartorial Wax and Beard Oil this is a much more citrusy Summer scent compared to the more fougere Savile Row inspired notes of Sartorial.
Penhaligon’s say of the scent :
Bayolea opens with refreshing mandarin, and lemongrass, giving way to an invigorating and warming heart of cardamom, black pepper and lavender, and resting on a resolutely masculine base of cedar, sandalwood, musk and moss.
The range encompasses all aspects of a man’s routine, from Bath and Shower Gel, that can be used as shampoo also, their first antiperspirant deodorant (the other deodorants are purely deodorising and cannot stop perspiration) to several shaving creams and an aftershave balm. Formulated specifically for a man’s skin the Bayolea range also includes a Facial Scrub, Cleansing Mask as well as a Facial wash. A Hair Pomade (that’s like a light styling wax to you and I) and a Beard Oil and Moustache Wax are on their way.
Most of the range is available now online and in their Boutiques with the rest of the items due in the coming weeks. Watch this video for a look into the making of Bayolea.
