At this week’s CES 2017 in Las Vegas, L’Oréal introduced a smart new hairbrush that will help you improve the how you to improve the health of your hair.
Microphone sensors in the brush listen for breaking hair and analyse the health of your hair, while you brush. The results are then delivered to you on an app, telling you if it’s time to get your split ends trimmed, or if you’re losing hair. Hair breakage is a major concern for a lot of women and the Kérastase Hair Coach brush will help you understand the right amount of pressure you should use to brush your hair, to keep it in peak condition.
Guive Balooch, global VP of L’Oréal’s research and innovation technology incubator explained that “Technology is transforming consumers’ daily beauty routines, and smart devices have huge potential to impact how we care for our hair and skin.”
The Hair Coach smart brush has been created in partnership between Kérastase and French consumer electronics company Withings. Take a look at how it works in this video.
Considering the cost of hair straighteners, which cause considerable hair breakage when used incorrectly – we speak from experience – £160 is a comparable cost for a product that will help you to prevent breakage, and strengthen your hair.
