New Look Capsule Wardrobe

To build a capsule wardrobe you need to start with the basics. For Winter a good coat is essential, choose a new handbag that is both practical for every day and understated so it goes with everything, if it’s leather then it will last for many seasons to come.

A pair of heels and a pair of boots underpin everything you will wear for the winter, including all the Christmas parties. Add a stylish pair of flats for the morning after too much dancing. Keep cosy with a warm cover-up, the new blanket trend is perfect for this. Some sexy underwear is a must for the party season, and of course the ultimate evening dress, go all out with embellishment and glamour.

A statement necklace finishes the look but can double up as a way to sparkle up a plain work outfit. A pair of jeans in a dark colour like burgundy or bottle green are a nice twist on a classic. A white shirt goes with everything, and is a wardrobe staple for always. Work it for casual or smart office wear as well as with jeans layered up at the weekend.

Make sure each piece can work with the other, that way you’re wardrobe will work hard for you right up until the sun decides to come back and warm us up again!
