With London Fashion Week hotting up, the fashionistas are out in force frow-ing at all the not-to-be-missed shows, and with the highly anticipated Topshop Unique show scheduled for 2.30pm this afternoon (you can watch it live-streamed just click here) we thought we’d get FROW ready with a couple of striking outfits with the Topshop Unique Sunray Red Pleated Skirt at the very heart of each outfit.
To wear right now we’ve styled the skirt with a stripy cropped cotton jumper which has a red highlight round the collar and contrasted it with this fabulous Yellow Tweed Jacket from River Island. We love the birkin-style bag from New Look the neutral hues and snakeskin texture balance out the striking colours of the skirt and jacket and will go with lots of outfits. To finish we’ve chosen black leather boots with gold detailing on the heel, this outfit is all about the details and textures. Oh and red nails of course.
For a little later in the year, once the temperature has risen a little we’ve plumped for a monochrome cropped top, statement necklace and glossy red lips. We’ve chosen this suede and leather strappy bag because the oversized style balances the top and skirt. The heels are a complete splurge from one of our favourite shoe designers Nicholas Kirkwood, the banana heel is both architectural and fun and adds a designer edge to the outfit.
